Who we are:
The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products.
The Gill Corporation is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to plan, schedule and follow up on production orders in support of customer and internal demands. Ensure that TGC makes or buys the right material, at the right time, in the right quantity, to the right place, with the best quality and at the lowest possible cost.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Planner/Scheduler will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer demands and provide Production’s commitments to Sales.
- Using MRP system, establish the required quantities and availability of material needed to meet these demands. Release Work Orders accordingly.
- Pro-Actively communicate across the organization scheduling issues and opportunities to ensure deliveries are met and objectives are achieved.
- Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned scheduled work.
- Generate daily status reports and act as the information hub for all issues concerning/impacting delivery schedules.
- Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Interface with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory.
- Responsible for coordinating timely shipments to customers.
- Troubleshoot various issues.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of planning experience in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in production scheduling and resource planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of MRP systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
- APICS CPIM certification preferred.
