Are you a detail-oriented leader with a passion for quality assurance and regulatory compliance in human services? Join our mission-driven organization as a Senior Program Quality Specialist, where your expertise will directly enhance the lives of individuals supported in our Adult and Children’s residential and day service programs.
As the Senior Program Quality Specialist, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of systems that ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all certified programs. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional departments—Finance, Maintenance, Safety, Nursing, Clinical, and Compliance—to drive operational excellence and ensure timely resolution of concerns.
You’ll supervise a team of Program Quality Specialists and serve as a key resource in identifying and improving Critical Failure Point areas, ensuring our programs not only meet but exceed regulatory and internal standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems to evaluate consumer satisfaction (individuals, families, and support teams).
- Coordinate and monitor operational practices to ensure compliance with health, safety, fiscal, and regulatory standards.
- Support documentation, billing, incident management, and survey readiness across programs.
- Analyze and report on operational trends, identifying areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights and follow-up plans to program leadership.
- Deliver training to new managers and administrators on quality processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and positive communication across teams.
- Ensure full compliance with agency and government regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative or program support role within a nonprofit setting.
- At least 3 years of experience with OPWDD regulatory frameworks (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Critical thinking and independent decision-making capabilities.
