Licensed Call Center Sales Representative (CA & TX) at None

JOB SUMMARY:
The Telephone Sales Representative CA and TX is responsible for handling telephone calls from internal and external customers. This position must support internal business partners and their CA and TX based members in facilitating a purchase of a Home Warranty product. The Telephone Sales Representative CA must reside in TX or CA and have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or
General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for the state of California or Texas. The Telephone Sales Representative CA and TX must be able to adapt to a fast paced sales environment that provides opportunities for both an Inbound and Outbound sales contact.

JOB SCOPE:
Supports Sears Home Services Service Contract internal and external customers through an Inbound (IB)/ Outbound (OB) interaction over the phone. The Telephone Sales Representative will work to influence and assist members with obtaining Home Warranty coverage..

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be a Texas or California Resident
• Must  have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for either the state of TX or CA
• Connects with customer via telephone and services the customer's needs to sell Protection Agreements and positions additional services products using a sales presentation that is scripted and follows call strategies
• Applies skills in the area of communication and customer service and manages and resolves customer concerns
• Delivers the sales presentation with passion, commitment, courtesy and professionalism and in conformance to policy and procedure
• Offers the best value for the customer in terms of price, discounts, multiple/additional products and maximum term and stresses
• Features the benefits of the products and uses available resources and skills to overcome objections

• Corrects information on record when appropriate, and properly records agreements, sales processing, and recording
• Maintains a high level of business/product knowledge via onsite and online training

• Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience
• License/certification in relevant field
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must reside in TX or CA and have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for either the state of TX or CA
• Previous Home Warranty or Real Estate knowledge and/or experience is critical in this role
• Ability to apply effective sales and service-related influencing skills based on the call type being handled
• Fundamental understanding of Home Warranty polices
• Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills are essential in this role
• Utilization of basic mathematical functions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based programs
• A team player that will be able to work closely with Customers, Builders, and Sub-contractors in a fast paced environment
