Program Manager
The Program Manager oversees the implementation, quality, and compliance of a community-based education and support program. This role includes planning and facilitating workshops, supervising staff, managing participant services, coordinating with community partners, and supporting data and evaluation efforts. The Program Manager works closely with the Program Director and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery, strategic alignment with organizational goals, and continuous improvement. Reports to Associate Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, organizational management, education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in program management, team leadership, or nonprofit service delivery
- Minimum of 5 years experience with project management and supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of Northeast Missouri or willingness to learn.
- Experience with federal grant compliance and reporting.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Lifeline’s mission.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to devise short- and long-term plans and implement them.
- Experience delegating duties, supervising staff, and implementing internal communications.
- Expertise in project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to share information in a compelling way about Lifeline’s project’s mission and programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
- Must be a committed Christian demonstrating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and faithfully attend church
- Agreement with Lifeline’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Principle
- Fingerprinting background check to be completed before employment
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Oversight
- Lead the planning, organization, and facilitation of group workshops using evidence-based curricula.
- Oversee intake and enrollment procedures for participants and oversee case management and referrals.
- Monitor program activities and ensure compliance with organizational policies and federal grant requirements.
- Maintain relationships with community partners and referral organizations.
- Implement recruitment and retention strategies to meet program goals.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Support the Program Director in supervising and coaching program facilitators, and support staff.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission-driven work.
Data & Evaluation
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
- Oversee the use of evaluation tools for continuous quality improvement (CQI).
- Support grant reporting and documentation efforts, including performance reviews and compliance tracking.
Compliance & Grant Support
- Ensure adherence to federal and state laws and grant requirements throughout the program lifecycle.
- Assist the Data Manager with evaluation and grant reporting activities.
- Monitor program supplies, resources, and budgets.
- Recommend program enhancements based on evaluation findings and participant feedback.
