Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical management related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Coordinator or a similar role.
- Experience with federal, state, and local Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., OSHA, specific state statutes).
- Experience in utilizing Workers’ Compensation claim management software (e.g., a specific TPA/carrier system) and HRIS platforms for accurate data entry, claims tracking, and generation of reports/metrics.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple claims simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage sensitive, confidential employee information (including medical records and claims data) in strict compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Manage data gathering/processing to ensure proper insurance placement.
- Receive, process, and manage workers' compensation claims for owners, employees, and Responsible Contractors ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in arranging necessary medical appointments and treatments for injured owners and employees.
- Review documents and accident reports to determine causes and propose solutions to prevent reoccurring accidents.
- Provide necessary training to managers and supervisors on how to process workers’ compensation claims.
