SUMMARY

 

This position supports Operations by assisting with inventory management. This individual will support the production lines by coordinating with inventory to ensure that all production labels are properly stocked and tracked.  This individual will also assist the Finance Departments with auditing and the warehouse for order shipping on the second shift.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.  Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

 

  • Receives all incoming labels, creates core tag labels for scanning, and stores labels in proper areas.
  • Stocks all labels for production floor on second shift and retrieves old label stock from production floor to return to inventory.   
  • Monitors NCI and JDE-Nav Discrepancy Reports for inventory inaccuracies and works with various departments to correct any errors.
  • Leads cycle count program as scheduled.
  • Removes obsolete labels and corrugate from inventory.  
  • Resolves any rework issues involving labels with production team.  
  • Complete internal audits in coordination with Finance Department.
  • Keeps consumable storage areas organized
  • Performs weekly counting of all consumable inventory items and notifies proper personnel for reorder when minimum inventory limits are reached.  
  • Works with second shift material handlers on picking and staging shipments.
  • Applies label identifiers to all pallets picked for shipment.  
  • Sends shipment list to generate SO in JD Edwards.  
  • Maintains records necessary for the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely reports. 
  • Assist with external audits. 
  • Retrieves and organizes labels when printed off Mark Andy press in the future
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma   
  • 5 Years of progressive experience in manufacturing environment.    
  • Familiarity with Navision and JD Edwards a plus
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
