About the Role:
The Acquisition Application role is pivotal in managing and streamlining the application processes related to acquisitions within the organization. This position focuses on ensuring that all acquisition requests are accurately documented, processed, and tracked from initiation through completion, facilitating seamless integration with procurement and project management teams. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional departments to gather necessary information, verify compliance with company policies, and support decision-making processes. By maintaining detailed records and providing timely updates, the Acquisition Application specialist helps drive efficiency and transparency in acquisition activities. Ultimately, this role contributes to the organization's strategic growth by supporting effective acquisition operations in the Lexington, NC location.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in administrative support, procurement, or acquisition-related roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience with acquisition or procurement software systems.
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations or industry-specific compliance standards.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process acquisition application requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and project teams to verify requirements and compliance with organizational policies.
- Track the status of acquisition requests and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain detailed records and databases related to acquisition applications for reporting and audit purposes.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of acquisition workflows.
