Position Summary
This National Training Director controls the analysis, design, and ongoing optimization of high school territories nationwide, ensuring each market aligns with Lincoln Tech's national footprint and revenue objectives. It also supports the training and development of Directors, building leadership capabilities and promoting excellence in field admissions.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive territory data analysis to assess population densities, high school senior counts, and geographic proximity to campuses.
  • Develop and maintain proximity maps that clearly define campus impact zones and prevent representative overlap.
  • Establish territory configuration standards based on population tiers:
  • Proximity 1: Within a 90-mile radius (< 15,000 high school seniors)
  • Proximity 2: 90--150 miles (< 20,000 seniors)
  • Proximity 3:150 miles or more (< 25,000 seniors)
  • Perform ROI evaluations of each territory by comparing enrollment revenue against associated expenses (salary, benefits, bonuses, travel, and event costs).
  • Partner directly Field Admissions leadership to guide strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with national goals.
  • Support the training and development of DOAs to build consistent leadership capabilities and reinforce field admissions excellence.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Analytic capabilities focusing on the outcome of establishing successful high school recruitment territories
  • Ability to establish and present training to guide High School Admissions managers to achieve excellence in compliance, service, follow-up, leadership, and outcomes.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM such as Salesforce, LeadSquared or other.
  • Ability to produce reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers of the organization
  • Well-versed in customer service and highly professional
 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the VP of Admissions preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Analysis, Business, or Marketing
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing others, specifically in territory-based sales.
 
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
Valid driver's license, the required minimum automobile insurance per company policy, and reliable transportation is required. Normal safety precautions are required indoors, and vehicle operation safety practices while driving a motor vehicle. Some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items up to 25 pounds is required. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
 
Travel
Extensive travel. Work is performed both in and out of the office work environment; requires driving to and flying to multiple states.
 
Expected Hours of Work
The job requires the ability to work both day, evening and weekends to observe, train, develop and support all admissions activities.
