Improvement departments at Orange Coast Medical Centers.%26nbsp; This role is primarily responsible for the activities aimed at preventing healthcare associated infections (HAIs), ensuring proper Infection Control precautions are in place, and compliance with infection control standards.%26nbsp; In collaboration with the other Infection Prevention Program Managers, this individual is accountable for the development, implementation, management, and operation of the infection prevention programs.%26nbsp; This individual works autonomously to conduct rounds, monitor infection prevention practices with staff, collect data, maintain accurate records of HAIs, submit data internally/externally, conduct outbreak investigations, train staff on infection prevention practices, investigate incidents of infections and report incidents to appropriate staff/leadership.%26nbsp; This individual ensures that the facilities follow all federal and state regulations, CDC guidelines,
