You will work closely with State Operational and Medical Leaders to provide and oversee the highest level of clinical care delivered to our members.

The actual compensation offered within the range, along with title and level, will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, business requirements, and performance expectations.
What you will do:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision for mental health and substance use counselors as well as recovery coaches
Oversee assessment, safety planning, clinical care decision-making, and discharge processes to support continuous quality improvement, effectiveness, efficiency, and clinical decision-making
Coordinate and participate in the training of staff, especially as it pertains to their professional and clinical development
Help ensure clinical compliance with State certification/licensing standards, CARF, contractual obligations, and agency policies and guidelines
Provide clinical coverage during absences and clinical treatment of a small caseload of members in group and occasional individual counseling sessions
Complete required documentation accurately (i.e. counseling sessions, progress notes and reports, hiring and supervision)
Work with State Operational and Medical Leaders to support quality, accessible care and clinical operations.
Partnering closely with Better Life Partners State Medical Director to provide integrated approaches for counselor/provider teams.
Collaborating with community partners and Better Life Partners providers on case management and care coordination efforts
Attend conferences, facilitate team meetings, and other meetings as requested.
Create and coordinate the scheduling of counselors and provide counseling coverage when needed
You are a good fit if you have:
Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Social Worker and/or Masters Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor; Active Certified Clinical Supervisor
Masters Degree in related field
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Extensive programmatic and clinical training
Willingness to travel as necessary
Work location requirements:

Candidates applying for this role must be willing and able to travel locally within the communities we serve and/or travel to onsite meetings as expected in coordination with their department and business needs.

Must have reliable internet service with a fast upload/download ability
Ability to ensure any protected health or proprietary data/information is not visible (or audible) to others in any work location
Must have a quiet space to speak to members, team members, or external partners with minimal background noise and distractions
