Your role at Dynatrace
Dynatrace is seeking a Renewal Desk Data Analyst to join our internal operations team. This is a non-customer-facing role focused on supporting complex processes related to Order Management , ARR protection , and data validation . You will collaborate with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Renewal Specialists, Order Management, and Account Executives to retrieve, organize, and analyze renewal data, then generate system-derived proposals using Salesforce and Excel .
Location : Detroit. This role requires in-office presence 2–3 times per week.
Role Overview
- Internal, non-customer-facing position with a strong emphasis on Excel and Salesforce.
- Manage prioritized requests from a shared queue.
- Collect, clean, and convert data into new formats and validate with Excel tools.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of renewal information for system entry.
- Troubleshoot issues in Salesforce and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Clearly explain Excel tools and logic to non-technical audiences.

Minimum Requirements
Basic to intermediate Excel skills (formulas, calculations, and data organization)
Basic familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)
Solid computer proficiency, including navigating tools like SharePoint
Strong math skills, especially in pricing and renewal calculations
Clear communication and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to find information independently
Preferred Requirements
Background in computer science, finance, mathematics, or other analytical disciplines
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
Capable of increasing autonomy and ownership over time
Professional experience prioritized over formal college degrees

Strong written and verbal communication abilities
