We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Renewal Underwriter to support our Hospitality underwriting team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of renewal business, endorsements, and policy servicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in commercial property insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive service to existing broker partners
• Maintain and strengthen broker relationships to support business development
• Assist Underwriter with complex accounts and overflow
• Manage a book of renewal business, ensuring timely and accurate underwriting
• Analyze risks based on exposure, loss history, and profitability metrics
• Rate accounts, select appropriate forms, and prepare competitive terms for presentation
• Process binders and endorsements
• Refer complex or non-renewal risks to Underwriter for potential approval

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in an insurance support or underwriting assistant role
• Familiarity with MGA operations and insurance terminology.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance software platforms 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
