JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience working in the recovery field and experience working with college students is preferred.
Job Duties
Event Development & Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and implement in-person events and activities for students that align with CRP goals.
- Track student attendance and participation at events.
Budgeting
- Maintain a small budget to support programming.
- Identify and apply for funding opportunities to support the program.
Student Support & Space Coverage
- Maintain a supportive and welcoming presence in the CRP space during scheduled drop-in hours.
- Serve as a resource for students seeking support related to mental health, recovery, and well-being.
Supervision
- Supervise a CRP-affiliated work-study student and provide oversight on assigned tasks.
Marketing & Promotion
- Assist with marketing efforts to raise awareness of CRP programming and services.
- Attend campus events and tabling opportunities to promote the CRP.
- Maintain an active online presence by managing and updating the CRP page on student engagement platforms and social media.
Campus Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with campus departments including Student Affairs, Athletics, CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services), Residence Life, and others to support student well-being and participate in cross-departmental initiatives.
Community Collaboration
- Build relationships with local community organizations and agencies.
- Develop a referral network to connect students with off-campus services and supports.
