The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience that upholds high standards of luxury and service excellence. This role is designed to build clientele for the resort ‘s high rated inventory. You will build and nurture direct relationships with high-net-worth customers (domestic and international) that book our Suite Collection products, manage and elevate our partnership with LHW, coordinate with various departments, and maintain seamless operations to create memorable and tailored experiences for discerning guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, business development skills, a passion for high-end service, and a commitment to maintaining the prestige of our extraordinary brand.

 

The Leisure Sales Executive – Luxury and Diplomatic is responsible for driving leisure and transient revenue through cultivating direct relationships with high-value clients and luxury travel partners (LHW). This role focuses on assisting with individual and long-term bookings, developing relationships with HNW customers, and ensuring seamless guest experiences that uphold the prestige of The Boca Raton brand.

 

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

 

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

 

 

 

Team Segment:

  • Be a positive contributor to the daily team environment and success of the sales team and overall financial objectives
  • Develop & maintain strong business relationships with direct clients, members, the travel industry, and internal / external clients
  • Remain flexible in a demanding, sales-focused environment. Welcome new tasks, training and responsibilities as assigned
  • Express a desire to continually learn and develop oneself
  • Create positive relationships with other departments to ensure the success of all guests and leisure customers

 

 

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase production for our suite collection to domestic and international HNW clientele
  • Assist with booking and managing individual and long-term travel reservations.
  • Cultivate relationships with LHW global sales
  • Negotiate and maintain new suite collection business, ensuring profitability and alignment with resort standards
  • Host property tours, site inspections, and FAM trips to showcase resort’s offerings, specifically The Suite Collection
  • Attend appropriate member and high-profile member and community / industry events.
  • Work with marketing for necessary sales collateral, messaging, data, and all applicable resources essential to the role

 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build long-term relationships with members and clients
  • Coordinate amenities, client gifts, pre-arrival, and courtesy services for on-property guests, as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with the reservations, operations, and revenue teams to deliver seamless guest experiences
  • Create bespoke experiences for leisure travelers, focusing on the resort’s unique offerings, including spa services, golf, dining, and private beach access.
  • Consistently meets and conducts property tours in a hospitable and professional manner reflective of a five-star service environment
  • All communications and tasks should be completed with the highest level of detail and professionalism, including luxury language with polished written and verbal communications

 

Performance Minimums for Direct Selling:

  • Clients acquired must be new to the property or have not stayed in The Suite Collection at any hotel in the past 18 months
  • Repeat to property applies to reservations where the original reservation and the repeat reservation are both booked and serviced by the Sales Executive

 

Market Insights & Reporting:

  •  Stay abreast of trends in luxury travel and competitor strategies.
  • Generate regular reports on market performance, prospects, and revenue contributions
  • Participate in daily/weekly sales meetings, revenue management meetings, and training

Internal Relationships

Reports to the Director of Sales, Leisure

 

External Relationships

Has regular contact with resort guests and members. Maintains appropriate relationships with these and other constituencies to enhance the image of the Company and the attainment of its objectives.

 

Qualifications and Education/Experience Requirements:

Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.

 

Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks & projects effectively and efficiently.

 

Ability to manage oneself with the ability to organize & prioritize and complete work assignments on time.

 

Overcome roadblocks and objections with creative problem-solving skills.

 

Information research, analysis, and evaluation skills.

 

Knowledge of office management principles and procedures.

 

Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.

 

 

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree or specialized certifications (e.g., CHA, CMP) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel or resort operations, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Work Environment:

 

  • Environment: Primarily in a high-end hotel or resort environment with high guest traffic.
  • Hours: Variable hours based on business needs, with availability for on-call situations during peak times or guest needs.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.

 

Physical Requirements:
 

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
