Responsible for the day to day accounting operations to support hotel finances. Includes processing invoices and generating revenue and P&L reports. Also responsible for AP, AR, month end and labor management.
Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate:
- Process daily invoices to pay vendors in a timely manner.
- Follow up with hotel property managers on POs.
- Audit daily revenues.
- Support month end process.
- Requires someone with a high degree of organizational skills.
- Must be able to organize and manage large volumes of detail.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to the hotels and other internal teams/customers.
- Reconcile daily hotel revenues from POS system to credit card statements & bank accounts, resulting in corresponding journal entries.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resulting journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain monthly supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
- Must be self-motivated, learn quickly, and be able to work with little supervision.
- Work within a small accounting team, and a larger extended company team.
- Have a strong desire to contribute towards continuous improvement.

Hourly Pay Rate: $25-$35 based on experience

Experience and Education:
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 Years of experience minimum.
- Experience converting manual process to an automated paperless process is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation.
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
- Ascend and descend a ladder.
