What you will do:
Responsible for managing all administrative and clinical functions to facilitate the effective operations of multiple physician practices. Develops business strategies, manage budgets, and over-sees the day to operations of physician practices. Ensures that the business needs of the practice are met and actively communicates with providers and staff the goals and expectations that are established for the practice. Develops action plans for each practice and works with the providers and staff to accomplish the goals that are set for them.
- Directs and manages day-to-day operations of physician practices including ongoing review and evaluations of operational issues.
- Financial Management of the practice, ensuring that providers are meeting the goals and volume targets that have been set for them, expenses are meeting budget, and the practice is moving in a positive direction.
- Human Resources Management including hiring, employee relations, evaluation of employees, employee timekeeping, and disciplinary actions.
- Works with new hires to make sure that they have the proper training and education to succeed in their role.
- Manages staffing levels in offices to ensure proper levels are kept so providers have the support that they need to run a successful practice.
- Responsible for managing the clinical quality measures, Medicare Wellness Visits, and patient satisfaction in the practice so each practice is meeting the goals set for them.
- Conducts monthly staff and provider meetings in each practice to keep staff and providers updated on financial goals, policy updates, patient satisfaction goals, and quality goals that have been set for the practice.
- Engages staff and providers to come up with ways to meet their practice goals.
- Supervises clinical and front desk staff.
- Develops annual budget for practices.
- Oversee billing is completed in a timely manner by providers and encounters are closed.
- Responsible for the proper maintenance and functioning of the physical office.
- On boards new practices, providers, and staff.
- Spends quality time in each practice throughout the week and fully understands the workflows in each office.
What you will need:
- Position requires at least two years’ experience managing a medical office, demonstrating the ability to successfully lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a healthcare field preferred.
- Computer skills sufficient to be proficient in Microsoft Office required.
- Interpersonal: Development and maintenance of effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the public. Skill in preparation and presentation of reports of FPG management as requested. Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
- Critical Thinking: Assists in planning (strategic and short-term) and organizing. Skill in exercise initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision making. Skill in analysis and interpretation of data. Skill in analyzing operational problems accurately and taking effective action. Ability to integrate priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge: Organizational policies, procedures, systems, and objectives. Fiscal management within budget guidelines and human resources management techniques sufficient to advise practice managers and clinic staff. Familiar with health care rules and regulations, governmental regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required.

- Ability to understand and effectively communicate in both written and oral form.
- Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and insurable under Firelands auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request.
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of emergency codes.
- Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment. Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
