Job Summary

BeVera Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) Support Specialist / Program Analyst to provide analytical, administrative, and programmatic support to a Federal Mentor-Protégé Program. The incumbent will assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of program activities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

This position supports the Federal agency’s small business and industry partnership initiatives by performing needs assessments, developing program documentation, and coordinating policy reviews. The specialist will also contribute to the management of program agreements, performance tracking, and budget monitoring to ensure successful execution of the MPP mission.

 NOTICE – CONTINGENT POSITION: This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract. 


Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) Support Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

  MPP Analysis and Execution Support

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify program requirements, gaps, and areas for improvement within the Mentor-Protégé Program.
  • Draft and edit policy content, standard operating procedures, and supporting documentation for program implementation.
  • Coordinate the internal and external review of policy and program documents with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Analyze Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) policies, directives, acquisition regulations, and legislative guidance to ensure program alignment and compliance.
  • Support the issuance and execution of new and updated policies, procedures, and program guidance.

  Program Management and Oversight

  • Assist with the coordination, review, and processing of new Mentor-Protégé agreements.
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and facilitation of program management reviews (PMRs) and stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor program activities, deliverables, and key performance indicators to ensure contract objectives and milestones are met.
  • Assist with the preparation of program performance summaries, briefing materials, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and management of program budgets, expenditure reports, and funding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, compliance reviews, and performance evaluations.

  Collaboration and Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between program offices, mentors, protégés, and external partners.
  • Support the exchange of information and best practices across the MPP community.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Program Manager and leadership team as needed.

Requirements

The minimum requirements for successful performance under the anticipated contract:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience providing program or policy support within a federal contracting, acquisition, or small business development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Federal and DoD acquisition regulations, directives, and policy development processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct analysis, coordinate document reviews, and support policy or program implementation.
  • Experience supporting budget and financial management activities, including reporting and tracking expenditures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience drafting professional reports, summaries, and correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Power Automate.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation or obtain a federal clearance, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Mentor-Protégé Programs or other Federal small business partnership initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Knowledge of Federal budget planning, program evaluation, and contract compliance reporting.
  • Experience working within DoD or federal program management offices (PMOs).
