Job Summary
The Course Material Manager will report to the Campus Store Director to ensure the effective ongoing collaboration between campus store, SU Libraries and ID&D to ensure faculty are aware of all course options to reduce the cost of materials to students. This will be done through the effective ongoing administration, marketing, operating and overall daily functions of managing a course material department.
Authority and Accountability
Reports to the Director of the Campus Store with shared collaboration with SU Libraries and ID&D. Supervises the Asst. Course Materials Manager, and part-time staff and students. Responsible for a $2.3M course materials budget.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business
- 3-5 years in a campus store
- Ability to operate computerized ERP system
- Strong organizational skills
- Microsoft Office with a high skill level in Microsoft Excel
- VitalSource Digital Learning Platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the acquisition and pricing structures of course materials.
- Skilled at operation of a computerized NetSuite POS/ERP system
- Ability to organize, track, verify, procure and provide reports on course materials
- Ability to motivate, train and supervise subordinate staff

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
