What You’ll Do:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our compliance team. In this highly regulated industry, it is critical to find a detail oriented, compliance driven individual to join our team. If you are detail oriented, can maintain confidentiality in all situations and are able to easily adapt to and reprioritize work, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will primarily focus on monitoring public communications and correspondence for overall compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. You will be responsible for:
  • Review of advertising and sales literature across all lines of business and affiliated companies.
  • Email review of assigned registered representatives and principals.
  • Perform social media reviews.
  • Compose compliance-related articles.
  • Complete the annual reinsurance questionnaires for the broker-dealer and investment adviser.
  • Respond to inquiries from field personnel and home office staff to support compliance efforts.
  • Assist with other insurance, broker-dealer and investment advisor compliance functions, as needed.

In this role you will need:
  • Strong Technical skills with the ability to learn and catch on quickly to changing technology

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain compliance with Federal, State and other regulatory agencies for insurance companies

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize work when demands change

What It Takes to Join Our Team:
  • College degree or equivalent experience required plus at least one-year related work experience preferred.
  • FINRA Series 6/26 or 7/24 preferred at time of hire.  Must be willing to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 24 within 4 months and the 51/53 within 12 months.  The Series 65/66 is also recommended.
  • Must have good research, analytical, organization and decision-making skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
