YOUR ROLE

 

Our Kettering-based operation is seeking a meticulous and proactive Admin Clerk to support all aspects of on-site administration. This includes responsibilities across purchasing, payroll, KPI tracking, transport bookings, reporting, and inventory and operations management.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 7AM to 3PM or 8AM to 4PM.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Reporting into the Supervisor, you will take ownership of the site’s administration and coordination, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and effectively. You’ll manage the full range of administrative duties including payroll processing, purchase ledger tasks, maintaining agency records, and handling employee paperwork through our HR systems, making sure everything is completed accurately and on time.

You’ll work closely with both clients and central support teams, gathering information to support timely billing and invoicing of weekly and monthly activities. A key part of your role will be maintaining operational efficiency by monitoring site processes, conducting audits, and producing accurate reports to drive performance improvements.

You’ll process payroll using a variety of systems and resolve any pay-related queries promptly and professionally. You’ll also produce KPI reports that demonstrate operational performance, supporting management and client meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis.

You will coordinate training records and ordering stationery and uniforms to managing car hire, hotel, and flight bookings. You’ll play an active role in supporting the site management team, ensuring they have the accurate information and reports needed to make informed decisions and maintain excellent service levels.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong administrative experience. with a solid understanding of office systems and processes. You’ll be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and capable of managing cost control activities with accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are key, along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. We’re looking for a team player who can also work independently, using their initiative to get things done in a busy, fast-paced environment
