What You’ll Do:
As a Medical Billing and Coding/ Revenue Cycle Management Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting billing and revenue cycle operations across TFHC clinics. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position combines hands-on experience with structured learning to help you build a solid foundation in healthcare administration.
You’ll learn how to:
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims
- Review patient encounters for billing completeness
- Post payments and assist with claim follow-up or denials
- Support financial reporting and reimbursement processes
- Communicate with payers and internal teams to resolve billing issues
You’ll gain practical experience in billing systems, insurance procedures, and compliance while developing skills for a stable and rewarding healthcare career.
Program Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Program duration: 18-20 months
- Includes paid on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom-based Related Technical Instruction (RTI)
- Wage increases occur as you meet training milestones
Required Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ideal for individuals with little to no prior education or experience in the field
