Job Summary
The Epic Applications Manager leads a team of analysts who configure, support, and continuously improve technology solutions for Jefferson Health Plans. This role spans multiple Epic modules for payer and population health functions, and partners closely with enterprise Jefferson IS&T teams, vendors, and operational leaders to deliver reliable, compliant, and member‑centric capabilities. The manager sets team priorities and standards, owns delivery outcomes, and ensures operational excellence for day‑to‑day support and upgrades.
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of analysts. Manage performance and develop growth plans that align with individuals and the organizational strategic roadmap.
- Establish and manage coverage plans and cross-training across modules
- Partner with operations to lead workgroups during decisioning phases
- Coordinate vendor engagement and ensure deliverables and timelines are met
- Represent application team in governance workgroups
- Manage team priorities
- Serves as a mentor to analysts
- Lead essential meetings
