The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for the receiving and implementation of procurement processes at the hotel, including Accounts Payable. Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with all department policies, service procedures and standards
• Assisting in the management of day-to-day operations, planning and organizing work and communicating goals
• Assisting drivers with unloading shipments and delivering them to the correct departments
• Reporting all out of stock items to the appropriate department head
• Practicing FIFO, first in first out, and ensuring the proper rotation of food and beverage items
• Verifying invoices against the purchase orders for accuracy
• Verifying and delivering all guest packages within the hotel
• Performing supply inventories under the direction of the department head
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the loading dock and storage areas, including sweeping and mopping
• Logging, releasing and inventorying items in the storeroom area
• Balancing physical labor (moving up to 75lbs of stock) and office tasks, including receiving orders in the system and communicating with vendors and hotel team members
• General knowledge of accounts payable and the invoicing process
• Responsible for tracking food and beverage cost
• Assist with month end closing including monthly accruals, reclasses of food and beverage invoices and POs, and reconciliation of the food and beverage general ledger accounts.
The budgeted rate for this position is $22.00/hour.
