Outbound Transportation Coordinator at None

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Load Scheduling:

Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments including Direct-to-Store, Final Mile and Full Truckload (FTL) carriers to meet store delivery windows.

• Communication & Coordination:

Serve as the primary liaison between store teams, transportation providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery execution and issue resolution.

• Bill of Lading (BOL) Management:

Prepare, review, and verify BOLs for accuracy and compliance. Conduct quality checks to ensure physical load matches documentation.

• Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

Respond to store delivery issue reports promptly and professionally. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, delays, or damages in collaboration with carriers and warehouse teams.

• Pallets Left-on-Dock (LOD) Oversight:

Monitor and manage LOD inventory. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and timely resolution to prevent delivery disruptions.

• Warehouse Support (as needed):

Assist warehouse operations during downtime, including pallet consolidation and staging to support outbound efficiency.

Responsible for collecting estimated pallet volumes for direct-to-store deliveries: determining requirements, coordinating transport, and recording actual shipment quantities. Plan, route, consolidate, and optimize delivery while sequencing load priority, and timely distribution.

• Basic understanding of OSHA and DOT procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or supply chain operations (retail preferred).
• Strong understanding of freight scheduling, BOL documentation, and carrier communication.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Final Mile delivery networks and FTL carrier coordination.
• Familiarity with retail store operations and delivery protocols.
• Knowledge of pallet handling and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

• Based in a warehouse environment with regular time spent on the operations floor.
• Varying temperatures on the operations floor.
• Ability to lift and handle boxes when supporting warehouse operations (as needed).
