The Highlands is looking for new and enthusiastic people to join our Food Market team! You will be helping our Food Market guests and/or taking orders for delicious Champion’s pizza. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the perks that come with working for an amazing resort.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Primary Responsibilities (60-80% of time)
- Answer phones to take pizza orders
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.
- Upsell food and beverage items by using suggestive selling techniques.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other available products.
- Communicate orders to cooks
- Enter orders into the Point-of-Sale system
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all products and services.
- Always aim to create a positive customer experience.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
- Receive and process customer payments.
- Balancing cash drawers and making daily deposits.
Secondary Responsibilities (20-40% of time)
- Stock, rotate, and store products correctly.
- Working with team members to maintain a clean, tidy work environment.
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the daily checklist.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Must be 18 years of age or older (no specific diploma or degree required).
Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Technical: Cash handling, menu knowledge, teamwork.
Software/Systems: Proper phone etiquette, use of POS (point-of-sale) systems.
