NTN has an immediate opening in our Automotive Aftermarket Sales Department for an OEM Service Sales Associate (Hybrid Office Schedule) at our NTN Automotive Center located in Farmington Hills, MI.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts across multiple accounts and internal stakeholders. Respond promptly to inquiries and strive to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage existing business for assigned accounts, ensuring products meet customer requirements, shipments are on time, and performance standards are achieved.
- Oversee parts at all stages of the product lifecycle, including mass production service, post-production service-only, and end-of-service obligation.
- Negotiate service pricing and engineering change impacts with customer buyers while striving to increase profitability.
- Maintain accurate customer pricing in internal systems to ensure correct invoicing and prevent payment discrepancies.
- Communicate in a timely manner all significant customer issues to appropriate personnel within the organization.
- Facilitate communication between internal and external teams through phone and in-person meetings. Provide management with verbal updates and written reports on customer needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting accountability, teamwork, and customer service excellence.
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (business or engineering preferred)
- Prefer minimum 1–3 years of experience in direct OEM automotive supplier sales (Ford, Honda, Stellantis, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Automotive OEM and Aftermarket value chains.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and support management in achieving corporate goals and long-term objectives.
- Demonstrated creativity, independent thinking, and project management experience.
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
