Knowledge of commercial and institutional plumbing systems, including domestic hot/cold water, sanitary, storm and hydronic piping.
Familiarity with commercial kitchen plumbing systems and food service equipment connections.
Ability to use pipe threading, soldering, and cutting tools safely and effectively.
Working knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations (licensure not required).
Ability to diagnose problems and make effective, lasting repairs.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems interactions.
Strong communication and record keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks across multiple sites.
Testing Requirements: Pre-Employment/Post-Offer Physical Ability Testing The purpose of the Program is to ensure that candidates possess the necessary physical capacity to safely perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
