Location: Kirksville, MO

Department: Recovery Services

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with patient exams and procedures

  • Gather patient history and document accurately

  • Draw labs and perform special procedures as requested

  • Provide patient education and counseling

  • Obtain medical records from outside providers

  • Deliver professional nursing care under provider and clinic manager supervision

  • Support and oversee RN, LPN, and Medical Assistants (excluding RN Care Managers)

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality indicators

  • Conduct performance evaluations, training plans, and supervision records

  • Interview, hire, and train new personnel; support supervisory staff in hiring processes

  • Coordinate departmental workflow and ensure deadlines are met

  • Facilitate open communication through staff meetings and regular interaction

  • Respond to feedback and develop action plans to improve departmental performance

  • Champion change and manage implementation of new initiatives

  • Collaborate with team members to advance the organization’s mission

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Integrated Health Services

Education and Experience Qualifications

Registered Nurse Path:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Licensed RN in Missouri

  • Two years of experience in a physician office setting preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse Path:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program
  • Licensed LPN in Missouri
  • Three years of experience in a physician office setting preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states

  • Comfortable providing telehealth services

Supervisory Requirements

  • Communicate strategic direction and encourage team participation

  • Provide leadership and guidance across departmental functions

  • Monitor and execute strategic objectives

  • Handle personnel matters with discretion and HR support

  • Reinforce a team-oriented culture and solicit input from all levels

Employment Requirements

  • TB clearance prior to employment and annually

  • Successful background check (criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, fingerprint)

  • Completion of New Hire Orientation

  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
