About the Role & Program:
Disney Entertainment Television develops and produces compelling programming and some of the most successful talked-about series on television today! The DET Communications department is responsible for handling all communication efforts for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Freeform, Onyx Collective, FX and 20th Television. As the DET Communications intern, you would rotate throughout several of the brands to assist teams as needed.
What You Will Do:
Rotate among Communications teams within Disney Entertainment Television, supporting leaders and assisting with projects.
Compile daily press clips, maintain press lists, and build schedules.
Assist in writing and distributing press materials, including releases, loglines, blasts, and bios.
Take and disseminate meeting notes to teams.
Support press pitching and publicity events.
Contribute to social media efforts, brainstorming sessions, and publicity strategy meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Consistently deliver clear, concise written communications and presentations to colleagues at all departemental levels.
Demonstrate initiative and adaptability by proactively identifying and addressing team needs in dynamic work environments.
Maintain 100% accuracy in project deliverables through rigorous attention to detail and effective organizational systems.
Successfully manage concurrent projects by prioritizing tasks and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring full compliance with confidentiality protocols at all times.
Previous media/PR internship experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from January 2026 through June 2026
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9 am - 6 pm, or the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work Burbank, California
