Bolton Rewards helps clients build and optimize their people resources through their reward strategy, compensation program design and rewards communication. We are seasoned strategists, advisors and analysts in performance and rewards.
We are currently looking to add a talented and motivated professional to our State and Local Government Sector Rewards consulting practice as a Consultant. Our Consultants work with project leaders and clients to meet project demands and help manage and complete several important projects and tasks:
- Perform market sector and financial research
- Draft job and role documentation and career progression systems
- Analyze and evaluate jobs and assign to classifications
- Source research materials and compensation surveys
- Develop cash compensation market rates – market benchmarking
- Model of various types of base pay programs and pay structures
- Draft exhibits and reports for client delivery
- Participate as needed in client delivery meetings
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics, finance, public administration, business or related field.
- 5+ years of human resources, classification, and/or compensation experience at or consulting with public sector employers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and work independently in a professional, deadline-based environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word; including knowledge of Microsoft Access.
- Communication skills to effectively participate in team-based client delivery projects.
