Cash Application Specialist at Kimball Midwest

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Cash Application Specialist for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for assisting with daily administrative tasks associated with cash application of customer payments.
• Analyzes and resolves cash application cases.
• Completes various month-end checklist duties. 
• Provided customer service to customers, sales representatives, and internal associates.
• Assists with diverse cash application functions, including but not limited to applying payment batches and resolving cases promptly.
• Interacting with customers to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Identifies and resolves issues related to invoices, payments and customer accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of bookkeeping principles
• Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow the written and oral instructions

Additional Information

The hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday- Friday. This role is onsite.
