Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Manager of Marketing & Business Development to support our growing corporate and M&A practice groups at the firm, including our National Dental & Veterinary Law Centers. This individual will play a key role in not just managing the day-to-day marketing initiatives but in being a strategic thinker and driving force behind exciting campaigns that bring in business and support our clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with big ideas, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in professional services marketing—ideally in a law firm or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership: Bring the ideas for prospective client outreach, blogs and initiatives.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and track integrated marketing campaigns to support firm-wide and practice-specific goals.
  • Content Development: Coordinate and edit content for client alerts, newsletters, press releases, website updates, and social media.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage your practice areas’ digital presence, including website updates, SEO, email marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Attorney Support: Collaborate with attorneys to develop individual marketing plans, create bios, and prepare proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistency of firm branding, messaging, and client-facing materials across all channels.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, website traffic, and engagement metrics to inform future strategy.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external designers, PR firms, and other vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, required in a law firm.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as WordPress, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Hubspot) is a plus.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with ability to build strong relationships across the firm.

Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Support staff may also be eligible for discretionary year-end bonuses and a merit-based increase. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401 (k) retirement plan, paid time off, and access to additional voluntary programs. The posted salary range reflects the base pay range for this position.
