PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our personal line clients. You will also provide education on available products/coverages and conduct renewal reviews. 

This will be an on-site position with the opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office per week + 2 days from home) once training is complete.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a liaison and first point of contact for assigned clients, producer(s), and underwriters. 
  • Educate clients on available coverages + identify opportunities for additional products.
  • Conduct renewal reviews to identify remarket opportunities based on current rates and coverage needs. 
  • Contact clients when premium changes occur due to carrier changes. 
  • Document all correspondence with clients and carriers in client management system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Active P&C license or the ability to obtain a license within 90 days of employment. 
  • A proven ability to work in a team environment and meet strict deadlines - all while providing exemplary customer service. 
  • Experience effectively managing multiple tasks and making decisions with limited oversight. 
  • Strong organization/communication skills - including the ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Prior insurance experience preferred.
