Cozen O'Connor's Philadelphia office is seeking a Financial Associate to work within the Escrow Department. We currently offer a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely processing of escrow/trust account related transactions including the recording of Trust receipts and the preparation of Trust disbursements
- Monitor and manage escrow and trust accounts via online banking websites
- Assist with weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure proper handling of all trust funds
- Provide excellent customer service to the Firm’s attorneys and other staff members relating to escrow/trust account related inquires and transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is not required, but is a plus
- Ability to work in a detail-oriented environment
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Prior law firm experience and working knowledge of Aderant Expert are a major plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills, initiative, and accuracy are a must
- Must be proactive, work well as part of a team, operate well under pressure and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service oriented and professional demeanor required
- Flexibility to work a minimal amount of overtime when needed
