POSITION OVERVIEW: As a BD Director at LJA Telecom, you will be responsible for building and expanding LJA’s market position by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This strategic role focuses on driving sustainable financial growth through sales leadership, market development, and long-term client relationship building
A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
- Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching industry events, publications, and market trends.
- Building strategic relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
- Representing LJA at social, corporate, marketing, and business development events.
- Monitoring marketing patterns, project wins, promotions, and industry shifts to guide strategy.
- Maintaining updated information on resumes, portfolios, hires, and employee highlights for marketing use.
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance LJA’s visibility and reputation in target markets.
- Protecting the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Continuing professional development by engaging in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
- Enhancing organizational reputation by embracing new initiatives and seeking opportunities to add value.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 15+ years of proven success in business development and marketing within a professional services or technical industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and business development best practices.
