General Superintendent
Location: Open (must be willing to travel or relocate)
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 base salary + up to 25% annual bonus + full benefits + ESOP + per diem bonus + car allowance
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale construction projects valued at $200 million and above. The ideal candidate has a proven record of successfully delivering complex projects in sectors such as aviation, sports, healthcare, mission critical, and education. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive safety, quality, and performance while building strong relationships across all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all field operations, ensuring project milestones are achieved safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Lead and mentor project superintendents and field teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Coordinate with project management, design teams, and trade partners to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and maintain project schedules, site logistics, and manpower plans.
Ensure strict adherence to company safety protocols and site-specific safety plans.
Manage subcontractor performance and enforce compliance with project specifications and standards.
Represent the company as the on-site leader, fostering positive relationships with clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
Support preconstruction and planning efforts, including constructability reviews and logistics planning.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a General Superintendent or Senior Superintendent managing large-scale commercial projects ($200M+).
Proven experience in aviation, sports, healthcare, mission critical, or education projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Expert knowledge of construction means, methods, and scheduling.
Proficient in construction management software and digital tools.
Commitment to safety and quality excellence.
Willingness to travel or relocate as required by project assignments.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $200,000 – $250,000 (DOE)
