Title: Workforce Program Specialist
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Administrators Unit. This position is classified as a Level 3, Step I, and is budgeted for $54,824.92.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Dean of Workforce Development, CMCC’s Workforce Program Specialist assists with the planning, implementation, and coordination of noncredit courses and trainings to include marketing and registration procedures. The Workforce Program Specialist serves as the Testing Center manager and is responsible for all facets of the Testing Center, to include but not limited to, working with test vendors, troubleshooting IT problems, administering proctored exams, hiring and supervising part-time test proctors, and maximizing revenue. The Workforce Program Specialist serves as a liaison in the community, further connecting the college with employer partners, and will represent the college externally. This is a campus-based position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in business or related field, or two years of relevant work experience.
- Proven customer service experience.
- A high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Master’s degree in business or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Design products.
