Job Summary
Primary responsibility for instructor-led and virtual instructor-led delivery and maintenance of Digital/technical training programs for new hire staff. Work closely with the department to identify training needs, develop training materials, and deliver training to healthcare employees at all levels.Essential Functions
-Delivers instruction in the use of software and other technologies.
-Prepares lesson plans, including methods, materials, and documentation to be presented in class.
-Assesses the users’ training needs and proposes solutions for a diverse training population.
-Design and administer user proficiency assessments.
-Provide coaching to individual users as assigned.
-Maintain knowledge and proficiency through relevant educational forums.
-Participate in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.
-Provide input into the development of training curriculum.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Adult & Continuing Education or Computer Science preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience
Experience in adult education and/or curriculum design 2-3 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to learn new application software and systems.
Strong organization, planning, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.

Working schedule:
1-5 days at one of 5 sites. Generally, trainers are on site training 2-3 days a week.
