JOB SUMMARY
As a RTC Engineer, you will work with our team of engineers and accountants to identify and substantiate cash-generating tax incentives that strengthen our clients’ businesses.JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist in conducting fieldwork, which may include visiting the client location, touring client facilities, investigating relevant facts, analyzing operational procedures & documentation, summarizing procedures and examples of such
Assist in preparing cost lead schedules and cost summary schedules, completing appropriate computations, and preparing written reports summarizing the findings
Ensure that client projects are conducted in accordance with firm standards and completed on time and on budget
Manage various project and delivery schedules to ensure client needs are met within appropriate deadlines

Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions
Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Travel required
Candidate must live in the region where his/her clients are located. This is a primarily remote role, with occasional time at a local or regional UHY office.
Intra-regional travel to client sites is common. Occasional overnights may be required, usually 5 or fewer per month.
Required education and experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field
Strong command of engineering/design concepts, product development concepts and manufacturing concepts with 5 years engineering experience
Preferred education and experience
Mechanical or Product Engineering Design
