The hiring range for this opportunity is $26.00 to $31.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards and regulations commonly found within a financial services environment. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process daily and month end journal entries related to IntraFi transactions (ICS, CDARS).

• Prepare various month-end GL allocations and accruals, including but not limited to employee benefits, workers comp, retirement expense, incentive, FTE, interchange income and the legal department BAN control entries.

• Prepare various monthly reconciliations including BAN control accounts, prepaids, CDARs/ICS, other assets, other liabilities and various other basic general ledger accounts, as needed.

• Assist with period-end closing activities.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including ensuring the daily & end of month general ledger reports are properly categorized and maintained.

• Support the Accounting team with journal entry input and various accounting tasks, as needed.

• Support the AP team with batch review and other tasks, as needed.

• Gather items requested to support internal audit reviews.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 0-2 years of accounting experience.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
