We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in the DFW (Haltom City, TX) area.
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our branch operations—helping customers with product inquiries, orders, and deliveries while supporting inventory management and sales growth. You’ll play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience and ensuring the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver exceptional customer service—assist customers with quotes, orders, and product solutions.
Pull orders for will-call customers and assist with loading materials safely.
Receive, load, and unload products using lift trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and maintain proper inventory records.
Order products from local suppliers and assist with inventory cycle counts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Partner with Territory Sales Managers and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Operate company vehicles for local vendor pickups and deliveries as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior customer service or sales experience—distribution or building materials experience a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 100 lbs safely.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ERP experience such as Epicor a plus).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be willing to obtain and maintain power equipment certifications (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a “Customer First” mentality.
