Key Responsibilities
Ensure outbound materials are shipped accurately and documented according to company procedures.
Identify and report shipping discrepancies; track and resolve claims through completion.
Conduct monthly finished goods inventory counts and reconcile variances.
Manage outbound shipments, delivery schedules, and compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare and analyze reports on shipping performance metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.
Address and resolve customer inquiries related to shipments, including providing tracking and updates.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with shipping vendors and carriers.
Negotiate shipping rates and contracts to optimize cost and service levels.
Develop and implement best practices for material handling, auditing, and safety.
Explore process automation and technology upgrades for efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
Associate’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 365.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
