United Flea Markets is seeking a Technology & Systems Support Specialist to provide both administrative and hands-on IT support to our growing corporate and field teams. This role is ideal for someone who loves organization, clear communication, and creating order from complexity, while also knowing their way around computers, printers, point-of-sale systems, and most office equipment.
This position blends administrative coordination (70%) and technical support (30%), making it perfect for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting people and improving processes.
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday (Full-Time) Weekend availability required.

What You’ll Do
As a Technology & Systems Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for helping employees navigate and troubleshoot everyday technology. This includes resolving technical issues such as computer setup, software navigation, and internet or network connectivity problems, as well as configuring printers, credit card machines, and other office hardware. You’ll maintain hardware and software systems, provide excellent service to internal teams, and ensure that our technology supports daily operations effectively. In addition, you’ll coordinate IT and administrative projects, develop clear step-by-step guides to promote consistent workflows, and help streamline processes across multiple business functions. This hands-on role is essential in keeping our people, systems, and operations connected, efficient, and running smoothly every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support company-wide administrative and IT initiatives under the direction of the VP of IT
- Assist users with everyday computer troubleshooting (slow systems, internet connectivity, software navigation, printer or credit card machine setup, etc.)
- Provide hands-on support for Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and company-specific applications
- Help team members navigate and use internal software systems, shared drives, and other tools
- Configure and maintain basic office hardware such as computers, printers, and peripherals
- Set up and configure workstations for new team members, including user accounts and password management
- Image and deploy computers using standard company tools and processes
- Perform light technical maintenance tasks, such as system setup, device resets, or minor troubleshooting
- Track and document technology assets, installation records, and user support requests
- Create and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), quick reference guides, and step-by-step instructions for recurring software and process tasks
- Coordinate small rollouts or process updates with field teams and internal departments
- Maintain organization of administrative and digital filing systems related to IT and operations
- Perform DoD-compliant data wipes for surplus or retired devices
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to staff across multiple locations
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of both administrative and technology operations

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of combined administrative and IT support experience
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environments
- Ability to explain technical steps in clear, easy-to-understand language
- Experience supporting staff in an office or field-based environment
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience supporting executives or multi-location teams is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Lift up to 15 pounds as needed
- Move between departments and facilities as required indoor and outdoor
- Ability to stand and work on a computer for extended periods
