The VP Finance Business Partner is a strategic leadership role responsible for guiding a team of finance business partners who support all Technology Service line leaders across the organization. This role serves as a key financial advisor to senior business leaders, ensuring alignment between financial insights and business strategy. While not directly responsible for FP&A operations, the role requires strong collaboration with the FP&A department to access forecasts, budgets, and performance data necessary for effective business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
- Key member of the Finance Leadership Team for Lummus Technology
 - Lead and develop a high-performing team of eight finance business partners spread across the US and Europe.
 - Promote a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 - Ensure consistent delivery of actionable financial insights across business units.
 
- Act as a trusted advisor to our co-COOs translating financial data into strategic recommendations.
 - Influence business decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight.
 - Challenge assumptions and support strategic initiatives with data-driven perspectives.
 
- Trusted thought partner to the CFO providing business insights and analysis that drive company decisions
 - Partner closely with the FP&A team to provide and obtain forecasts, budgets, reporting and financial models.
 - Ensure business partners are equipped with timely and accurate financial data.
 - Provide feedback to FP&A to improve planning processes and reporting relevance.
 
- Monitor business unit performance against financial targets.
 - Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
 - Develop and track KPIs aligned with strategic goals.
 
- Collaborate with functions across Lummus to integrate financial perspectives into business planning.
 - Promote financial literacy and accountability.
