Role Overview

Virtusa is seeking a senior leader to drive our Banking Digital Platforms practice, with a focus on shaping and delivering next-generation solutions that fuse AI, low code, and digital orchestration. This role is designed for someone who can work upstream—from solution definition and platform strategy through to go-to-market execution—to build offerings that deliver measurable business outcomes for global banking clients.

The leader will be responsible for translating market shifts (Generative AI, Agentic AI, and automation at scale) into repeatable, platform-based solutions tailored to financial services. They will partner with client executives, engineering, and domain teams to co-create offerings, identify launch customers, and establish GTM momentum.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and package cross-industry, platform-driven solutions with a core focus on Banking (e.g., lending, onboarding, servicing, risk, compliance), Emerging verticals (e.g., manufacturing, logistics), and Telecom.
  • Lead end-to-end solution lifecycle: advisory, design, pilot, and scaling repeatable models.
  • Shape offerings that leverage Pega, AWS, ServiceNow, and adjacent platforms, while embedding AI/GenAI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Virtusa SBUs, product alliances, and engineering practices to deliver solutions with speed, scale, and credibility.
  • Engage directly with client CXOs to reframe fragmented initiatives around measurable business outcomes.
  • Build business cases that tie AI and automation to cost reduction, compliance, customer experience, and growth.
  • Mentor cross-functional teams; blend engineering, domain, and AI expertise to accelerate value creation.
  • Establish referenceable client successes to fuel demand generation and pipeline expansion.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years in consulting, digital transformation, or platform engineering with deep exposure to Banking/Financial Services.
  • Proven success leading platform-based transformations across AI, automation, and low code.
  • Track record of shaping offerings and taking them to market (not just delivering custom engagements).
  • Familiarity with agentic AI models and their impact on enterprise workflows.
  • Strong partner ecosystem experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise platforms (Pega, ServiceNow, Appian, Adobe).
  • Exceptional client leadership skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and convert strategy into execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—able to create new revenue streams while balancing risk, compliance, and delivery rigor.
