Analysis and Reporting
- Assesses retail partner performance across multiple dimensions (e.g., sales, profitability, fulfillment/operations, service).
- Conducts ongoing analysis of pipeline progress and future opportunities.
Account Strategy Development
- Leads sales and business case development for small-to-mid-sized retailers.
- Develops account segmentation and prioritization for low-to-moderately complex categories.
- Collaborates with retail and distributor partners to create actionable account plans.
Relationship and Account Management
- Serves as a key point of contact for small-to-mid-sized retailers.
- Develops KPIs to improve purchase order reconciliations, recall procedures, and related processes.
- Identifies new retailers/brands to enhance product breadth, margin, and sales.
- Maintains a retailer/brand target pipeline.
- Designs and executes processes to drive continuous improvement in partner-facing operations.
- Promotes the brand and ensures long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Provides input into self-service support strategies based on support analytics.
Partner Orientation and Integration
- Promotes Walmart’s value proposition to internal and external contacts.
- Sources and closes relationships with low-complexity partners.
- Communicates integration requirements effectively.
Performance Optimization & Action Planning
- Develops action plans and engagement strategies to improve partnership performance in low-to-moderate complexity categories.
Collaboration
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess performance and pipeline opportunities.
- Works with Category Managers to identify assortment/mix gaps.
People Development
- Builds and leads a team to execute business or category objectives.
- Coaches and provides feedback to enhance team performance.
- Conducts performance and career development conversations.
- Maintains team motivation and engagement.
- Mentors Partnership Specialists.
- 1-3 Years experience in related field
- Bachelor degree in business or related field
