In this entry level role, you’ll deliver linear audio content with oversight from the Creative Services team. As a graduate in the Creative Services Audio team, you’ll receive mentorship from experienced Audio Designers and be part of a culture which encourages continuous learning and career growth.
This role is intended for candidates at graduate level; we’re not currently seeking more experienced linear sound designers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Delivering assigned tasks on time and to the required quality standards
Mixing and track-laying linear content to deadlines
Assisting with on-site or location-based audio recordings as required
Interpreting and following creative briefs for asset production, collaborating with Creative Services Producers and Creative Services Audio Team to define and manage timelines
Collaborating with colleagues and other disciplines to help streamline audio deliverables
Proactively reporting issues to your manager and seeking assistance in a timely manner
Working to further your skill and understanding of linear audio, specifically with regards to mixing, storytelling, and the use of audio tools.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
An understanding of the principles of linear sound design and basic knowledge of storytelling and mixing techniques
The drive to improve and better understand your craft
Ability to take direction and learn from more experienced Audio Designers
Willingness to acknowledge mistakes and apply lessons learned to improve performance
A constructive attitude and the resilience to perform effectively under pressure.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE
An interest in video games (especially Frontier games)
Basic experience in creating sound effects using custom recordings and audio libraries
Some familiarity with DAWs (we use Reaper) and the integrated use of plug-ins.
