Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Claygate Primary School
Claygate Primary is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to support children aged 0–5 in their learning and development. This role offers hands-on experience, training, and the chance to gain a qualification while making a real difference.
Apprenticeship Overview:
Salary: £7.55 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
Working Week: Monday to Friday - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (30 minute break)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: 18 months

Duties:
- Plan and supervise activities which are based around the needs and interests of each individual child.
 - Support children to develop numeracy and language skills.
 - Responsibility to help ensure each child feels safe and secure.
 - Observe each child and shape their learning experience.
 - Track children’s progress to plan next steps.
 - Meet the care needs of the individual child.
 - Work in partnership with other colleagues, parents and/or carers.
 - Support the safeguarding of children in the workplace.
