Ranch Hands at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Medieval Times is looking for a RANCH HAND to assist us with caring for our 250 acre ranch and horse farm in Sanger, TX!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with upkeep of the property including fence maintenance, cutting trees, and mowing
• Assists with the feeding, cleaning, and overall well-being of the horses
• Assists with the grooming and exercising of the horses
• Performs additional duties, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

• Ability to work outside for an extended period of time in all weather conditions
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to use or learn to use farm machinery and equipment
• Ability to work with and around horses
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years' experience working on a ranch
• 1 to 2 years' experience working around horses preferred
