We are looking for you to join our team for an Associate Project Management role based out of San Diego, CA. Teleworking is not available as an option for this position.
What You’ll get to do:
Work as an independent thinker in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, and collaborative team-based environment.
Perform work related to planning and scheduling in support of the program Master Rotation Plan (MRP) – identifying the needs of the program as it relates to OCONUS assignments and coordinating travel rotations to meet the program scope of work.
Utilize Microsoft Access and Excel to maintain deployment schedules for approximately 60+ field engineers in support of six (6) program site locations.
Lead weekly reviews of the Master Rotation Plan (MRP) to include status meetings with management to prepare schedule recommendations and providing health reports of our staffing in theatre OCONUS..
Perform work related to planning, monitoring, and tracking deployment readiness for field engineers to include immigration, travel and iTRIP.
Support travel and operating expense reports in Concur for submission to management for review and approvals.
Work in multiple different areas of job duties
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 6 months+ of related experience in project management (or related field), Associate's degree and 2 years experience; an additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated experience with scheduling
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
US Citizenship and current/active DoD Secret clearance are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CONCUR Travel Reporting
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with MS Access
Experience with scheduling multiple items and quickly adapting to rapid changes
Experience working individually: self-prioritizing and tasking, consistent cadence
Experience working within teams: projects, meeting schedules, and goals
